Yes. Every piece is solid 14k or 18k gold, never plated. No base metal underneath, so there's no gold layer that can wear off. Our jewellery is also nickel-free and hypoallergenic, so it's gentle on your skin. Want to know more? Read our Gold Guide.

Forget the bite test. Every piece has a 585 (14k) or 750 (18k) hallmark, depending on the piece, and comes with a digital Certificate of Authenticity. You'll also find the TOV signature subtly engraved on every piece.

24k gold is too soft and scratches easily. 9k is harder, but its colour is less rich. 14k gives you the best of both: a rich, warm colour that's strong enough to wear every day.

Our prices reflect the value of real gold. Because our pieces are never plated, changes in the gold price affect our production costs, and sometimes our prices too.

All our white gold is finished with a fine layer of rhodium, a precious metal from the platinum family. That's what gives your piece its bright, white shine. With daily wear, the finish can soften a little over time, towards the natural, slightly warmer tone of white gold. A jeweller can renew the finish, and we're happy to advise you on it.

Yes. We use natural diamonds only, with F–G colour (near colourless) and SI clarity, usually in a brilliant cut for maximum sparkle. The carat weight differs per piece and is shown on the product page. Your digital certificate shows the cut, colour, clarity and carat of your diamond. Absolutely. Real gold is low maintenance and made to be worn. Just take your jewellery off before activities that could damage it, and avoid contact with lotion, hairspray, perfume and cleaning products. Good care pays off.

• Clean it regularly with lukewarm water and a soft brush (an old toothbrush works) or a polishing cloth
• Use a detergent-free cleaner and never anything abrasive
• Diamonds? Gently scrub them now and then to keep their sparkle
• Have stones checked by a jeweller every 6 months, to make sure they're still secure

Make sure your pieces are completely dry, then store them separately in a dry, dark and safe place, so they don't scratch each other. Travelling? Keep them apart in a jewellery case. And never pick up a piece by its stone or setting.

Easy. Measure a ring that fits you well, or wrap a strip of paper around your finger. Then use our ring size guide to find your size in seconds. Tip: measure at the end of the day, at room temperature.

Go for the larger size. Your fingers can swell slightly during the day, so it's usually more comfortable. Choosing a wide ring? Many customers go one size up.

No stress. Exchange it for another size within 30 days via our returns portal, as long as your ring is unworn. Within Europe, exchanging is free.

We don't offer engraving or personalisation. You can have it done by a local jeweller, but we don't recommend it: once a piece has been altered by a third party, our warranty ends. And honestly? Your TOV is beautiful just the way it is.

Our earrings are sold as a pair, and we don't sell earring backs separately.
