Hold the flat-back disc behind your ear, push the bar through from back to front and turn the front piece clockwise until secure. Clean your hands and the piercing with alcohol first. Ask your piercer to show you the first time if you are not sure.

Most ear piercings use a 16G bar of 1.2 mm for cartilage or an 18G bar of 1.0 mm for a standard lobe piercing. Every product page lists the exact measurements.
